We at Le’s Kitchen are committed to the fight against hunger through our volunteer work, holiday giving events, and charitable contributions. According to Feeding America, 1 in 8 Americans are struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Le’s Kitchen is a proud monthly supporter of the following organizations and asks those who can to please join us in this fight.

The San Francisco Food Bank provides healthy food to alleviate hunger through direct distribution through neighborhood pantries and the opening our warehouse to agencies to “shop" for selected foods. They deliver food to over 400+ local nonprofit organizations, including neighborhood pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, homeless shelters and youth programs.

 

 

Feeding America is the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Their mission is to feed America's hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.

 

 

Freedom from Hunger brings poor women in Africa, Asia, and Latin America a powerful combination of microfinance, education, and health protection to help them achieve a sustainable, self-help end to world hunger.

 

 

Heifer International is a global nonprofit with a proven solution to ending hunger and poverty in a sustainable way. Heifer helps empower millions of families to lift them out of poverty and hunger to self-reliance through gifts of livestock, seeds and trees and extensive training, which provide a multiplying source of food and income.
